Ukrainian non-government organization Ā«Ukrainian association of IT-professionalsĀ» (UAITP) was based in 2007. Main objectives of UAITP activity are: creation and assistance to development of the newest information technology and computer science in Ukraine, increase level of knowledge o in the field of information technology, introduction of modern communication and information systems in all branches of economy, science and education in Ukraine, acceleration of Ukraine integration in international space.
The association includes 7 Universities of Ukraine and 50 IT-companies( IT-industry)- leading companies, developers, and distributor of software, outsourcing companies in IT sector.
UAITP introduces and extends the international standard of computer literacy ECDL - European Computer Driving Licence (the European computer rights), also known as ICDL - International Computer Driving Licence.

Role of the organisation in the project:

In WP1 P13 will take part in e-surveys, and drafting training requirements. In WP4 it will participate in training holding by P1, provide members of network for pilot training and workshop for future trainers executed by P6-8. In WP5 it will evaluate trainings and learning modules, observe the modules design and implementation, and suggest details about contents/methodology. The employees will participate in Certification program. In WP6 it will participate in dissemination activities by using own already established information facilities, and planning of activities after project lifetime, using its facilities deliver to members the project results, be a contact organization for building mutual beneficial partnership between academia and business. In WP7 P13 will provide reports, communicate with the coordinator (P1), participate in iCo-op conference/meeting(Spain) and via video/phone in other meetings.
